Covid-19 Response

Our Coronavirus Response
As our dining and drinking area is completely outdoors we continue to remain open although we have made some changes:
In order to support the call for social distancing we will limit the number of guests in our al fresco deck area. We may adjust our offer or close a little earlier than usual. Cleanliness remains our top priority
As a small local family company we greatly appreciate your support.
Our approach to the crisis includes the following measures:

Enhanced hand washing procedures
All of our teams are undertaking extra handwashing in accordance with government guidance. Everybody in our team wants to stay healthy so this is taken very seriously. As an absolute minimum we are operating a compulsory team hand-wash every 20 minutes.

Monitoring, training and communication
All of our teams are kept informed of the situation and their responsibilities specific to the coronavirus.

Precautionary measures
Our staff are under instruction not to come into work if they develop any relevant symptoms and will be sent home immediately to self-isolate should they develop any symptoms at work.

Disposable serving materials
All our food is served on disposable serving materials, reducing the risk of contamination.

Guidance for guests & customers
We advise that you follow government advice and any specific instructions given to you by relevant medical professionals. Within the bounds of the present situation we believe you can feel very safe at the Barge and Quarterdeck due to our ongoing management of the situation. If you feel unwell please stay at home, rest and recover. We do hope you will be able to visit us and we appreciate your support at this time, as always.
